PRAYERLINE: SUNDAY 29 JANUARY TO SATURDAY 4 FEBRUARY 2012

CAMBODIA
David and Esther Allen return to Phnom Penh on Tuesday 31st January. Pray all the final preparations to return to Cambodia go well and that they will be very aware of Gods guidance and wisdom with them as they take up the reins of ministry again.

SWAZILAND
Sue Fishbourne (Hereford) leaves for Swaziland on Saturday 4th February for one month for her Regents Theological College 3rd year placement. Sue will use her nursing and midwifery skills to assist Elim Missionary Jane Bradshaw with all aspects of the medical ministries run by Challenge Ministries Swaziland. Pray for safe travelling for Sue and that she will soon settle in and build good relationships. Pray she will be both blessed and a blessing during her time in Swaziland.

NEPAL
The official opening of a village school takes place on 2nd February which will be the largest organised event ever to take place in the village! Pray for the UVN team as the school opens, for the literacy project and as they disciple new Christians in the village and establish a church.

CONGO
Debbie Howard is travelling to Kinshasa on 2nd February for a month. She will be holding training courses for youth and childrens workers and planning to set up a team to continue this work. She will also be meeting with senior leaders from the Kipushya churches. Pray for safety for Debbie in all she does. Pray the training courses and meetings are a blessing to everyone taking part.

NIGERIA
Fierce clashes have taken place with many people losing their lives. Attacks have been on the police, military and government and increasingly on Christian institutions. Bomb attacks and gun battles in Nigerias second largest city, Kano, killed 186 people on 20th January. Pray for unity and peace and that God would work out His purposes for the future of the nation.   Pray for protection for Christians and Christian communities and comfort for those who are bereaved.
