Children are not just the church of tomorrow, they are very much the church of today! The whole purpose of Hope-4-Kids is that children get a chance each week to discover more about Jesus in a fun, friendly, memorable and age-appropriate way.
The Sunday children’s work is split into two groups: The Crèchemeets in the dance studio through the doors to the right in the main hall (for ages walking–3 1/2yrs); C.L.I.C.K. meets in a hall up the stairs to the left in the main hall (for ages 3 1/2yrs-10yrs).
In C.L.I.C.K. (Children Living In Christ’s Kingdom) the children are split into three groups: pre-school, infants and juniors. Each week we have a time of worship and a story together before splitting into our groups to complete age-appropriate tasks and games based around the theme for that week. We then have a snack and a drink and play a game that is based on the same theme.
In the Crèche the children will have the chance to enjoy free-play with a range of toys, a snack and drink and a short DVD film.
Instructions for parents...
The children leave the service after the notices, and at this time an announcement will be made. Children are brought by their parents up the stairs in the left hand corner of the main hall (or through the doors in the right hand corner of the main hall for creche), where they are directed by one of the members of the C.L.I.C.K./crèche teams. At 12.20pm an announcement will be made asking parents to collect their child, at which point parents go to collect their child/children.
