Parenting Children Course

About the course:

This course is for any parent with children up to the age of 10. The course, while based on Christian principles, is relevant and helpful for any parent with or without a Christian faith or church background.

 

Topics covered include:

- Week 1: 'Building strong foundations'
- Week 2: 'Love in action'
- Week 3: 'Setting boundaries'
- Week 4: 'Building character'
- Week 5: 'Our long term aim
'

Each evening begins with a meal followed by a DVD presentation, with opportunities for discussion in small groups.

Please note that childcare is not provided.

Parenting Teenagers Course

About the course:

This course is for any parent with children aged between 11 and 18 years, and for those with younger children who wish to prepare for the teenage years. The course, while based on Christian principles, is relevant and helpful for any parent with or without a Christian faith or church background.

 

Topics covered include:

- Week 1: 'Meeting your teenagers’ needs'
- Week 2: 'Setting the boundaries'
- Week 3: 'Building the relationship'
- Week 4: 'Helping our teenagers make good choices'
- Week 5: 'Looking to the future
'

Each evening begins with meal. There is then a DVD presentation, followed by an opportunity to discuss issues raised in small groups.
